Our decaf takes decaf to the next level. It starts with high quality coffee sourced from current crop based within four Colombian regions. It then goes through the decaffination process. Sugarcane decaffeination utilises a naturally occuring compound, ethyl acetate (EA) derived from 100% natural sugarcane and water, to decaffeinate the coffee.
This process can magnify sweetness and acidity, so green coffee beans are carefully sourced for high body, high sweetness and low acidity, creating a balanced chocolatey and sweet cup.
The beauty of the Natural EA process is that it helps preserve most of the original flavours whilst also adding some fruity notes.
